How I met Aleks Salkin

We’ve got a “real pro” coming to Valkyrie soon…

I first met Aleks back in 2020 when we taught his first edition of what is known now as “Bodyweight Mastery”.

He was described to me as a real “nerdy guy who’s incredibly strong” and that he also really “knows his shit about bodyweight training”.

I was vaguely interested.

Pffft. Whatever man. I can do push-ups and pull-ups just fine.

At this point in time, I was deep in my “kettlebell or nothing” era.

And If it wasn’t from Pavel himself, I wasn’t interested. You can keep your push-ups and I’ll keep pressing heavy weights thanks.

Well, didn’t I turn out to be very, very wrong…

So wrong that now, 4 years on, we’ve personaly invtied Aleks to come back and teach again.

Because, well, the things I learnt from Aleks helped me press “The Beast” (a 48kg kettlebell) and become the 99th “Beast Tamer” in the whole wide world.

(Dang-it. I hate it when I’m wrong…sort of).

This time, Aleks has made a few changes to what was otherwise a picture perfect workshop and I can’t wait to learn more ways to get stronger.

Book in your tix before they sell out, cause you know they will!
