Is Valkyrie a “normal” gym?

No. Unlike most “globo” gyms, we offer high quality, small group training delivered through our classes. We’re big on connection, community and strength.

Oh, so Valkyrie is like CrossFit then?

Nope. Even though we share some similarities to CrossFit gyms (like lifting weights, group training etc.) we are quite different in our approach and methods. We offer a more moderated approach, with a larger focus on “quality over quantity” in smaller groups.

In other words, you’ll never be asked to do 100 burpees into a 100 box jumps in 3 minutes. We’re more like, “Do 10 swings, and do them extremely well.”

Right, so more like F45 then?

Not even close. Valkyrie is one of a kind, and it’s best to experience it for yourself! Think of F45 as McCafe and Valkyrie as your favourite coffee shop where all the baristas have your order already ready to go and the home baked muffins are to die for.

Is Valkyrie appropriate for beginners?

Hell yes. Valkyrie should be your first port for strength training or the last stop on your long (but maybe unsuccessful) journey. Our coaches are extremely good, and have helped hundreds of newbies to smash their goals.

What times are your classes?

Mainly between 6am-10am/ 430pm-630pm, Monday-Saturday. We often have speciality classes and weekend workshops that pop up throughout the year too.

Do you have different sorts of classes?

Not particularly. Our “Strength & Mobility” class delivers 95% of our programming for the training block. Sometimes we need more or less time on the gym floor depending on what we’re focusing on so our class length also varies from 30-60mins.

However we do offer, Open Gym, mobility hyper-focused classes and other speciality classes.

Do you offer Personal Training?

Yes. However, we might convince you (after a friendly chat and assessment) that our classes may be more beneficial for your goals. Contact us for any PT inquires.

Sounds great, but how much does this all cost?

Our memberships are all-inclusive and start at $66 / week. We also have options for personal training, casual class packs and mentorship; please follow the “Start training” links to chat about your options!
